In a special performance , Dyskko added a new installment to his ongoing saga of the Dungeon Divas. Known for what he calls “’special effects,” his story-telling incorporates bardic magic to make you feel you are part of the story.
In true Dyskko style, audience members felt the heat of Moltenwing the Dragon. They cried along with Buzz, as he wondered what to do after the death of his mentor, Indira. The audience cheered when the Divas freed the Shackled Ones from the Great Tree.
I didn’t think I was going to be able to sneak away from the group. The dwarf guy, Albion, kept talking to me. All about how being a “Marked One” doesn’t mean he’s evil. How it’s not his fault. How he’s a good guy and on and on.
I had the kid on one side of me and the dwarf on the other. The kid was talking nonstop. “I climbed that tree.” “I’m tired.” “Can I have ice cream?”
The new mage was walking right behind me and making me feel nervous all over.
I dropped my pack to the ground. No one was listening to me. What a dilemma. I could totally go on my own. Make it to Cauldron. Get Indira back. Easy. But I’d be leaving the Divas without a healer. What would Indira do? I closed my eyes for a moment. The sounds of Ian and Sadi talking fading away.
I’d seen Indira fight for what she believed in.
